Bethany Sonefeld
Design Lead at IBM Bluemix
Originally from the mitten state, Bethany moved to Austin, Texas in 2015 and is currently working as a Design Lead at IBM Design.

She leads the team in charge of developing and maintaining the Carbon Design System, which enables teams to design and build experiences that contribute to IBM Cloud products.

Bred a morning person and a warm weather gal, she’s always on the search for the sea, sun, and fresh air. Away from designing, you’ll find her soaking up the sunshine, nose deep in a good book, or attempting to memorize lyrics to rap songs.
